Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MileTrack mobile application (the "App"), website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account or using MileTrack, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
1. Who We Are
MileTrack is operated by Canopas Software LLP ("MileTrack", "Company", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in India at 552-554, Laxmi Enclave 2, Katargam, Surat, Gujarat 395004.
MileTrack is a mileage tracking application designed to automatically record trips and generate reports for personal or business use.
2. Eligibility
To use MileTrack:
  • You must be at least 13 years old.
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
  • If you use MileTrack on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. License to Use MileTrack
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use MileTrack for its intended purpose.
You agree not to:
  • misuse the Service or use it in violation of any laws or regulations
  • attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the software
  • get involved in fraudulent activities, or engage in financial manipulation or fraud
  • transmit spam, scams, deceptive communications, or misrepresent yourself or others
  • upload malware, harmful code, or other malicious content
  • attempt unauthorized access to accounts, servers, or systems
  • disrupt, interfere with, or attempt to compromise the operation, functionality, or security of the Service
  • harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • launder money or support any illegal activities
All rights not expressly granted remain with Canopas Software LLP.
4. Your Account
To use most features of MileTrack, you must create an account.
You agree to:
  • provide accurate information when registering
  • keep your account information updated
  • keep your password secure
  • notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
We are not responsible for losses caused by unauthorized access if you fail to secure your account credentials.
5. User Content
MileTrack allows users to create and store content such as journey records, journey reports, drive analysis, etc. ("User Content").
You retain ownership of your User Content.
However, you grant MileTrack a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
  • store your content
  • process your content
  • transmit your content as necessary to provide the Service
You are solely responsible for the content you create, upload, or share using the Service.
You may not share content that:
  • You don’t have the right to share
  • Contains private or sensitive personal data
  • Is hateful, violent, or discriminatory
  • Is sexually explicit or exploitative
  • Is illegal or promotes illegal acts
  • Is spam, scams, or deceptive promotions
Violations may result in content removal or account termination.
Mileage calculations are estimates and may not be 100% accurate. Users are responsible for verifying records where required.
MileTrack acts only as a software platform and does not provide accounting, financial, tax, or legal advice.
6. Sharing Documents
MileTrack allows users to export and share their driving reports or other data with other recipients.
You are responsible for:
  • ensuring the accuracy of information in documents
  • obtaining permission to share personal information contained in those docs
  • complying with applicable laws regarding billing and taxation
MileTrack is not responsible for how recipients use or store documents once they have been shared.
7. Fees and Subscriptions
Some features of MileTrack may require payment.
If you purchase a subscription:
  • payments may be processed through Apple App Store or Google Play
  • subscription terms and refunds are governed by those platforms
  • subscriptions may automatically renew unless cancelled
You may cancel your subscription through your app store account settings.
We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription anytime through your app store account settings.
Refunds
All purchases are handled by Apple or Google, and their refund policies apply.
Free Trials
We may offer free trials from time to time.
Trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled
We may modify or discontinue trials at any time
8. Service Availability
We strive to keep MileTrack available and functioning properly.
However, we do not guarantee that the Service will always be:
  • uninterrupted
  • error-free
  • completely secure
While MileTrack takes reasonable steps to protect and store user data, users are responsible for maintaining backups of important information such as journey records. MileTrack is not responsible for any loss of data resulting from user actions, system failures, or external events.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
9. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in MileTrack, including:
  • software
  • design
  • logos
  • trademarks
  • content
belong to Canopas Software LLP.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without written permission.
10. Privacy
Your use of MileTrack is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, and protect your personal data.
11. Termination
You may stop using MileTrack at any time.
You may delete your account through the application settings.
We may suspend or terminate accounts if:
  • these Terms are violated
  • the Service is used illegally
  • the Service is abused or misused
Upon termination, access to the Service may be removed.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MileTrack shall not be liable for:
  • loss of profits
  • loss of business
  • loss of data
  • indirect or consequential damages
arising from the use of the Service.
MileTrack’s total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service during the previous 12 months.
13. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".
We do not guarantee that:
  • the Service will always be available
  • the Service will be free from errors
  • the Service will meet all user expectations
14. Force Majeure
MileTrack shall not be held liable for any delay, failure, or interruption in the Service caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These events may include natural disasters, acts of government, war, terrorism, labor disputes, internet service disruptions, power failures, cyberattacks, or failures of third-party service providers.
During such events, we will make reasonable efforts to restore the Service as soon as possible.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically.

Updated Terms will be posted within the app or on our website.

Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MileTrack regarding the use of the Service and replace any prior agreements or understandings.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes related to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts located in India.
